Twitter Trends
The first month of 2016 is nearly up but it continues to show us some exciting Twitter campaigns. And this week was no different. We have Quaker Oats telling everyone in the UK to have a #SuperStart to their day and inspiring everyone to #MoveOnUp in life, i.e, get an apartment! We also have the best Vine moments from their third year, and other Twitter trends doing the rounds. Stay tuned!

Quaker Oats’ #SuperStart

The UK’s favourite breakfast brand, Quaker Oats, is inspiring everyone to have a #SuperStart to their day. Their new campaign with the hashtag #SuperStart includes an ad with Darcey Bussell, one of the judges of reality show Strictly Come Dancing, who no doubt starts her day with Quaker oats. To complement the TV campaign, they’re also touring the UK for some free porridge giveaways.
Their campaign couldn’t have been timed any better, with this week being #NationalBreakfastWeek too.
So if you’re in Nottingham today, head over to Old Market Square to get your porridge fix! #MoveOnUp is upping their game this year by advertising at the Super Bowl for the first time. They’ve roped in actor Jeff Goldblum again this year who will be reprising the role of eccentric silicon valley executive Brad Bellflower. In the lead up to Super Bowl, the rentings website has started promoting some teaser shots on Twitter of their campaign, with the hashtag #MoveOnUp. It shows Jeff ‘moving up’ while showing off his musical skills.
One to look out for at the Super Bowl for sure!

Vine is three!

Our favourite micro-video website, Vine, is three years old and Twitter celebrated #VineYear3 by collating all its best moments, in Moments.

And In Other News:

- Twitter India got off to a wonderful start this year by dedicating their channel to promote the Jaipur Literature Festival that ended earlier this week. They worked closely with the festival to hold Twitter Q&As, and collaborated with authors and publishing houses who were invited to the festival such as Margaret Atwood, Stephen Fry and HaperCollins, amongst others. - Tesco has become the first brand in the UK to use Promoted Moments. Have a look at their curated Tweets:
